001. Type Dining Set | Table & Chairs  Material Douglas Fir, Japan Stain and Stainless Patinated Plaques and Screws Dimensions 1000mm x 1000mm approx Weight On Application Price POA Year 2026 Lead Time 6-8 Weeks   Drawn from the lacquered jewellery box traditions of East Asia, Coffer recalls the ceremony of objects kept with intention. When seated, the four chairs pull flush beneath the table, the form closing into itself, complete. It does not read as a table at all. Constructed from Douglas fir, finished in black japan stain, the darkness of the stain draws the grain forward, rich and present. Hand-patinated metal plaques and stainless steel screws remain visible at the surface, a quiet acknowledgement of process and making. Proportions can be adapted to the room it is made for. Launched as part of Sentimental Pull, in collaboration with Leonard Joel, as Artist in Residence at St Agni. 002. Front handles feature sculptural hardware, comprising a motif derived from an antique door-boss, then hand-patinated. Suspended from them are two woven reclaimed horsehair tassels. Inside, hand-finished shelves are finished in a deep red patina, their surface subtly varied. A handwoven waxed-thread shelf, threaded with red beads, hangs within the base, introducing a note of delicacy against the otherwise monolithic form. 003. Type Connected Stools Material Walnut Veneered Plywood, 100% Raw-Silk with Onyx Beaded, Cotton-Lace Applique, Stainless Steel Patinated Plaque Dimensions D 450 x W 515 x H 455 mm per stool Weight 44kg Price $11,800 Year 2025 Lead Time Available   Designed for Craft Victoria exhibition DONE/UNDONE curated by Joseph Gardner: VISIONARIES 2025: Presenting the future of Australian art, craft and design through the lens of one of the country's most influential creatives. Codependence places two stools in dialogue, upholstered with textiles formed by dismantling Victorian beaded garments and appliquing them onto worn silk dupion. A metal maker's plaque on each stool anchors the work in a language of craft and repair. Streifen works instinctively, drawn to materials already marked by use. Fabrics are fragmented and reassembled to expose traces of erosion and unravelling. Process remains visible, histories are left intact, and through decay the work finds a restrained sense of renewal. 004. Type Daybed Material Birch Plywood, Mild Steel Hardware, Woven Leather, Vintage Resin Beads Dimensions D 800mm x W 1900mm x H 230mm Weight 48kg Price $12,800 Year 2025 Lead Time 10-12 weeks   Articulated by the opposing forces of repetition and restraint, the Litany Daybed frame is hand-stained, and developed to deepen visual mass. A handwoven leather cushion in a cross-hatch pattern rests on the surface secured to the daybed's hardware with a decorative lanyard weaving and antique beads. The hardware references an antique door boss, functioning simultaneously a structural and visual anchor. Intended for moments of pause, Litany supports resting, leaning and transient occupation. 005.
